Photorealist Tom Rogers has been creating contemporary oil paintings in Taos, New Mexico since 1989.  He studied at the School of Art at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and at Florida International University in Miami, where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in studio painting.  He also received a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.  A native of New Jersey, Rogers has lived, worked and shown his paintings in Miami, Atlanta, and the New York City area. 

In Taos, he has exhibited in several shows at the Millicent Rogers Museum, and has been represented by Bryans Gallery and Collins-Pettit Gallery, and, he is currently represented by Envision Gallery in El Prado. Since 1990, he has had nine one-person shows in Taos and his work can be found in notable collections locally and nationwide. Rogers is a founding member of the Taos Society of Portrait Artists.
